Steam Fast SF-680 Digital Fabric Steam Press is metal which makes it very sturdy. I love this little press. I am the type of guy that ironing pushes me right over the edge. Takes about a minute to warm up and be ready to steam press. I still haven't figured out how to press pants properly, but youtube should help in that realm.

I just lay the whole thing down and press one side then the other and they flatten right out. Shirts are a breeze too. you just have to get the hang of how to lay the clothes out before you press and then press the Steam Fast SF-680 top down for about 5 seconds. Thats it.I read probably 40 reviews before buying the press and most were positive but a few were totally negative.

I think it's just up to the individual, if you want a perfectly pressed article and willing to spend the time to get it then maybe an iron is for you. This steamer allows you to sit in front of it while pressing. Top, quality sweaters, such as angora and cashmere come out as if they have been prefessionally done, with no iron lines. Pants press beautifully leaving no marks on the fabric. The creases are the most impressive part of the pants.

I would estimate that this Steam Fast SF-680 product has cut down ironing time on all items by at least 1/4 and I truly appreciate its performance. Like any other new interactive product, getting the results you want takes reading the manual and practice. After ironing 4 or 5 shirts or trousers, you get the "hang" of it. Two major things are saved...time and money....when using this product. The speed and ease of this press makes it perfect for me.

I am unable to stand for long times, and using this on my ceramic tile table is perfect. I ordered the stand for the press, but it's not necessary. This Steam Fast SF-680 Digital Fabric Steam Press is a good investment because it will save time and money.
